Vintage Cast Iron Horse Head Hitching Post Fence Topper with Ring. Some chipping of the black paint and it appears to have been green at some point. Obtained recently from an estate sale in upstate New York. Can not tell whether it is an original or a reproduction.

Stands 9 inches tall with a maximum width of 8 inches. The mounting whole at the base is 2 inches in diameter and there is a through hole for a mounting shaft. Weighs in a a hefty 7 pounds!
