Very cool pieces, heavy cast iron, looks like at one time it was a solid cast-iron horse head and somebody did an expert job cutting it in half. It is much taller than a book end. They measure 16 inches tall by 9 inches wide.

They are iron, and they are on a wood base, one of the bases had a crack in the wood, and has been re glued and is fine. Great accent pieces inside or outside. Check pictures for condition these heads are really nice.
