Large Hanging Vintage Cast Iron Ball Post Architectural Salvage MCM Planter Cage. Cool old salvage piece - out of local estate. Please see all photos as they are part of the description paint is a little chippy and rusty here and there.

Measures approximately 17 in diameter. Piece opens up sort of like a clamshell is held in place with a screw and nut but unsure if original to piece or at one point possibly had some type of latch? Really have never seen anything like this and it is quite unusual! Could be repainted and used for multiple reasons! Very cool just to look at as an outside hanging garden piece as well.
