LARGE Cast Iron Finial post Top 3 3/4 CannonBall Gas Station Flag Rusty Iron

  
Here is a neat LARGE VINTAGE old cast iron finial... Not sure what this was on?? My first thought was finial on top of pipe at a gas station(where signs would hang from)?? Set screw works good, not froze up.. As I said this is bigger than any of the ones I have researched!! Ball is 3 3/4 in diameter!! Opening on bottom is 3 1/8" to 3 1/4",,, 2 1/2" pipe will fit in bottom, OD on 2 1/2" pipe is about 3??

Weighs little over 7 pounds!!!!! I did not clean this at all!!
