Antique cast iron horse head hitching post with verdigris finish. The iron horse head is welded onto the iron post.

The cast iron head was painted in the 1970s with Tichacek weathered bronze finish. It's a two step process that gives a copper wash look. Although expensive, the paint is still available. Horse head is 7" tall with widest point being 6 1/2".
